How has the season gone so far at Petersham in Australia?
The season over here has been amazing so far! Having already won the Minor Premiership, we now face a tough opposition in Drummoyne in the Grand Final this weekend. The atmosphere at the club is electric at the moment as we have 4 teams all playing in finals.

How is the level of club rugby in Australia, specifically at Petersham, in comparison to the UK?
The players and coaching staff demand high standards of each other, both on and off the pitch. It's something we set out at the start of the season and it's created a great environment to be a part of. So, we've played some really good rugby over the season.

How were the club with helping you settle into the Australian lifestyle?
I couldn't have asked for a better welcome when we arrived. The club quickly found a place for us to stay and were able to completely furnish our flat through player donations. Soon after they found me work at Dragon Labour hire through their club connections.

What is the social aspect like within the club?
Over the season the club has held old boys luncheons, charity days, and other great social events, as well as the famous "mid year lock in". great bunch of lads!

Any other information you would suggest for players looking to have a season in Australia, please feel free to put it down.

If you're looking to have a season in Australia, expect to play fast physical rugby in the sunshine. If you also want to be a part of great club, look to Petersham.
