Our Fees
Elite Management’s fees can be summarized into four major categories as outlined below. It is our philosophy to reduce the financial burden on our athletes wherever possible.
Provincial union contracts. Elite Management is typically remunerated directly by the provincial union that acquires the services of a client. This means that there is no fee payable by the client to Elite Management.
NZRU contracts. For NZ Sevens, Super 14 (including wider training group) and All Black contracts a fee is only payable to Elite Management for the negotiation of these contracts should Elite Management add value to the initial offer from the NZRU. If Elite Management is unable to add value to the remuneration of the client or gain more favorable contractual terms there is no fee to the client. If additional benefits are sourced, Elite Management charges a fee based on the increase gained. Before any work is carried out with regards to a NZRU contract or offer, Elite Management gains authorisation from the client to undertake the negotiation.
Year 1 – Inside Running invoice the club for 7% of the contract value. The Athlete is required to pay 3% of the contract value.
Year 2 and thereafter – Inside Running invoice the club for 7% of the contract value. The athlete is not required to pay a fee.
Note: If the athlete transfers to play in another country they revert back to the fee structure for year 1.
For all Sponsorship and Endorsements (excluding apparel and vehicle contracts) arranged by Elite Management the client is charged 20% of the overall value.
All other services provided by Elite Management to the athlete come at no cost to the client.
