Elite Management Team

KENT HALE

Based in Auckland, Kent is the primary representative for Inside Running Elite Management, managing our clients across New Zealand. Kent has fulfilled this role for over five years & across this time has built up extensive knowledge of the rugby landscape in NZ and abroad. He has a background in Marketing & Human Resource Management. Kent handles the day to day operations of Elite Management clients, including all contract negotiation, career planning & sponsorship & endorsements enquiries.

Kent is an accredited agent with the NZ Rugby Players Association who he works closely with as well as maintaining strong relationships with the NZRU, Super 15 franchises, Provincial Unions & other key stakeholders across New Zealand.

MIKE ROGERS

Based in Mt Maunganui, Mike has significant experience in maintaining overseas networks & facilitating professional placements in New Zealand & abroad. Mike's experience gained over the last seven years in the industry has given him an exceptional understanding of comparable rugby levels across the world & his knowledge is invaluable when seeking suitable arrangements to play rugby abroad.

Mike is also an accredited agent with the NZ Players Association & has an accounting background specialising in taxation. Based in the glorious Bay of Plenty Mike is the primary representative of Inside Running's clients in this province.

KEVIN BURGESS

Part time & based in Cambridge, Kevin is responsible for a group of Inside Running's young Waikato-based athletes. Kevin has in-depth knowledge of rugby at both grass roots & professional levels in the wider Waikato area & has had many years experience mentoring young talented athletes.

Kevin has been a pharmacist for over 30 years & is heavily involved & passionate about his 'off field' interests which include representation on a number of boards.

JOE FIU

Wellington born and raised, Joe is the newest recruit to the Inside Running Elite Management team. A recent graduate of Victoria University with a Bachelor in Commerce and Administration majoring in Marketing, Human Resources & Industrial Relations, Joe combines this knowledge with exceptional people skills and an intimate knowledge of the local rugby environment.

As the Client Manager for our Wellington clients, Joe will be working closely with Kent as Inside Running grows its presence in the greater Wellington area.
